This Sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY! the New Orleans Saints are set to take on the Indiana Colts in the most epic of American sporting events: the Super Bowl. And while you may or may not be a fan of either team, you will most certainly celebrate the food and drink specials at select Sunset Strip venues during the game.
Cabo Cantina is offering 99-cent Coronitas during the game until they run out. Also on tap for Sunday: bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys until 3 p.m., a special $1.99 hangover breakfast burrito and as always Cabo’s famous two-for-one happy hour from 4-8 p.m.
If you are looking to mix people-watching with football-watching head over to Red Rock, which features an expansive outdoor patio overlooking The Strip as well as eight prime televisions indoors. Red Rock offers half-priced drinks from 5-7 p.m.
What could be better than watching the game in your living room with friends? Watching it somewhere that feels as comfortable as your living room but without having to clean. The Den of Hollywood’s Super Bowl party features drink specials starting at 3 p.m. and a full menu. Grab a seat at their bar or on a plush chair near their fireplace. And for those not interested in watching The Who break it down, raffle prizes will be given away at halftime.
Isla Cantina showcases three large HDTV screens as well as drink specials and a full Mexican food menu. Doors open at 1 p.m., giving you ample time to sample their more than 150+ tequilas.
Arrive at Saddle Ranch before the game and enjoy bottomless Bloody Mary’s and mimosas from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. It is the perfect compliment to your pre-game brunch.
And after the game, catch a show at one of The Strip’s venues. The Whisky hosts Veil Of Maya, Circle Of Contempt and Periphery ($13). The Shakers, The Mullhollands, Automatique, Tommy Peacock and Vas Defrans are taking over the Viper Room ($10). Jimmy Gnecco of Ours performs at On The Rox ($15).
