Hotels, Venues Partner To Offer Sunset Strip Guests Free VIP Club Pass

Traveling to sunny Southern California this summer? Then be sure to book your hotel room on The Sunset Strip! Starting May 1, The Sunset Strip’s hotels and legendary nightlife venues are partnering to re-launch the popular VIP Club Pass, an exclusive fast-track pass to gain free entry into The Comedy Store, House of Blues Sunset Strip, Key Club, The Roxy Theatre, Viper Room, Rainbow, Whisky A Go-Go and Cat Club.

Sponsored by Jack Daniel’s, The Sunset Strip VIP Club Pass gives guests of the Andaz West Hollywood, Grafton, The London West Hollywood, Mondrian, The Standard, Hollywood, Sunset Marquis or Sunset Plaza Best Western a “passport to rock,” with free, unlimited access to all the clubs for the duration of their trip (space and private events permitting).

The program premiered in 2010 and was so well received by guests, hotels and venues that the participating businesses decided to bring it back for an encore this year.

The Pass allows visitors to experience a convenient, enjoyable night out without the hassles of having to drive to another Los Angeles destination and fight the crowds for parking or pay for a cab ride. By walking outside their hotel, the options for the evening are bountiful and most importantly free. The estimated savings could exceed $125 for a couple, per night:

Guests can lounge during the day at their hotel’s amazing pool deck, most of which offer sprawling views of L.A. After a pleasant dinner at one of the critically-acclaimed restaurants on The Sunset Strip, one could walk the world famous boulevard, stepping into The Comedy Store to take in an 8 p.m. show, where comedians Sarah Silverman, Dave Chappelle, Jeffrey Ross and Martin Lawrence have been known to stop by recently (estimated ticket value of $20 for one). After a few laughs, one could head across the street to the House of Blues Sunset Strip  and skip the line to see such artists as Erykah Badu, Black Veil Brides or ’80s kings Steel Panther (estimated ticket value $20 for one).

The next stop for the night could be the legendary Roxy Theatre, which recently hosted such artists as Foo Fighters, Friendly Fires and KRS-One, to take advantage of exclusive VIP seating at a rock, indie or hip-hop show (estimated general admission ticket value of $15 – $20 for one), and the evening could be capped off at the Rainbow Bar & Grill next door for a couple drinks, music and some late night grub (estimated cover charge of $10 for one).

Rock/hip-hop/indie or DJ shows at the legendary Viper Room, Key Club, Whisky and Cat Club would complete your whirlwind nightlife tour of The Strip.

With The Sunset Strip VIP Club Pass, hotel patrons are invited to enjoy The Strip’s live entertainment venues (subject to venue capacity and special events). One pass per guest will be issued and is valid for the duration of your stay.
