Mangia! Osteria Drago Delivers Authentic Italian Fare With A Modern Twist

Osteria Drago‚ the namesake of award-winning master chef Celestino Drago‚ had some large Italian loafers to fill last year when it opened in the location previously occupied by Il Sole for more than 20 years.

But with a prestigious and celebrated career, Chef Drago has raised the culinary bar and is again earning accolades and drawing a consistent celeb clientele to this famed location (regulars include Halle Berry, the cast of Mad Men, Eric Idol of Monty Python), while serving up a refreshing twist on classic Italian dining.

TheSunsetStrip.com recently toured the contemporary Milano chic trappings of Osteria Drago, visiting the kitchen for a cooking demonstration and sampling some delightful menu tastings — sea urchin panna cotta, barbabietole con burrata and risotto with carrots and pork belly — with fellow Sunset Strip neighbors.

Make your reservations today! Osteria Drago is located at 8741 W. Sunset Blvd., and is open for lunch daily from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 5:30 – 11 p.m. Valet parking available, and a City of West Hollywood public parking lot is located across from the restaurant. www.osteriadrago.com
